How long does it take to set up my classes?
Import your student list straight from an existing Excel file, no retyping. Import once and the class is ready for the whole year.
Is my students’ data safe?
Every record is tied to your own account and no other teacher can access it. Data is stored on TecerTools’ servers in Johor, Malaysia. The Privacy Policy lists every third party that processes data, including AI providers.
Can I export my data?
Yes, any time. Export to PDF or Excel from any module. The records belong to you.
Is tecertools still in Public Beta?
The tecertools Public Beta has ended. Teachers who signed up during the Public Beta received 4 free months after launch as a legacy benefit. This benefit is not renewable and does not apply to sign-ups after the beta ended. New sign-ups follow the Member, Fellow or Professional plans.
Do I also need to install the Chrome extension?
Not required. The web app works on its own; the Chrome extension only speeds up filling in PBD on IDME and attendance on MOEIS.
What does the AI do, and who makes the decisions?
AI prepares drafts and suggestions: RPH, reading RPT or RPH forms from documents and photos, project plans, intervention plans, Keberhasilan target and achievement wording, matching pupil names when importing attendance, and worksheet questions and layout in Kertas. You review and choose what to use. AI does not decide TP, grades or any action about a pupil, and pupil names are not sent to AI for project or intervention planning.
Does tecertools submit straight to IDME or MOEIS?
No. tecertools is not an official KPM product. The Chrome extensions fill in the forms on IDME and MOEIS for you to check, and you save or submit in the official portal yourself.
What is free, and what do I pay for?
The Member plan stays free. Kertas, Figura, Geometrik and Safari Senyap are free too; UASA exam papers and the question bank in Kertas are open on every plan, while making worksheets in Kertas is on the Professional plan. Fellow (RM13/month or RM120/year) unlocks every class and watermark-free exports. Professional (RM23/month or RM200/year) adds QR book scanning and worksheets.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Take attendance in class on your phone, continue on your computer, and your data always stays in sync.
