The real problem: one dropdown, one student, over and over
The PBD form on IDME is designed for entering one student at a time. When the whole class gets the same Tahap Penguasaan (TP) for a standard — a common situation after one teaching session — you still have to click the dropdown, pick the TP and confirm it for every name on the list. For a class of 30–40 students, that can take time out of proportion to the value of the information entered.
The fix: TecerTools PBD
TecerTools PBD is a free Chrome Extension that sits on top of the existing IDME form — it does not replace the official portal, it speeds up how you fill it in. There are four workflows depending on your class:

Ringkas (Quick) — one TP for the whole class
Open the IDME page, pick one Tahap Penguasaan in the extension popup, review the confirmation screen, and the extension fills the whole class at once. No tecertools.my account needed.

Terperinci (Detailed) — a different TP per student
When students do not all get the same TP, use the Detailed tab to pick a TP per name with quick search, on one screen instead of a separate form each time.

Ulasan Kelas (Class Comments) — bulk comments
Prepare comments (for example PAT/PBD remarks) for several students at once before confirming them on the IDME page.

Pull from TecerTools — reuse existing records
If you already record TP in your tecertools.my account (for example through the RPM module), pull those records straight in as the source — no retyping.
This extension is not an official KPM tool. It is a third-party tool that speeds up entry on your existing IDME form — PBD data is still filled in through your own IDME account session.
What happens to student data
For the Quick flow, the extension does not keep a separate copy of student data — it only fills in the IDME form already open in your browser. The Detailed, Skills and Class Comments flows need a tecertools.my login because they involve stored personal records. Full details are in the PBD Extension Privacy Policy.
When TecerTools PBD is most worth it
- Large classes (30+ students) where many students get the same TP after one session or test.
- Subject teachers who teach several classes and fill in PBD repeatedly through the week.
- End-of-term situations when many standards need updating at once.
For just one or two students, the original IDME form is usually enough — this extension saves the most time when the volume of entries is high.
