About tecertools
tecertools was built for a problem that is easy to see but hard to solve: teachers in Malaysia spend a lot of time managing records — timetables, RPM, attendance, marks, reports — across many forms and systems that do not talk to each other.
Who it is for
Primary and secondary school teachers in Malaysia — including subject teachers, class teachers, and teachers who carry extra co-curricular or discipline duties. The tecertools app is in Bahasa Malaysia because that is the everyday working language in schools; this website is also available in English.
Our approach
tecertools does not try to replace official systems such as IDME or MOEIS. Instead it brings your own records (timetable, RPM, attendance, marks, book checks, project evidence) together in one place, and speeds up entry into the official systems through Chrome extensions such as TecerTools PBD and TecerTools Attendance.
Status & student data
The tecertools Public Beta has ended. The Member plan stays free; Fellow and Professional are available at the current pricing. Teachers who signed up during the Public Beta keep the 4 free months after launch as a legacy benefit. Stored student data is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and its 2024 amendments — read the Privacy Policy for full details.
Who operates tecertools
tecertools is operated by TECERTOOLS DIGITAL SOLUTION (Indahria Apartment, Persiaran Teknologi Subang, Seksyen 22, 40300 Shah Alam, Selangor). tecertools is not an official product of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM), IDME or MOEIS, and is not affiliated with any of them.
